Company Register

To adhere to the Companies Act, every company should maintain a company register or 'statutory books’ as it’s sometimes referred to. The Company Register also needs to be available for inspection at the registered office at any time.

It works a bit like a diary of the company’s financial activities, members, dividends and structure. Every company is required to keep a company register as a statutory requirement and to provide access to them. They must be kept at the company's registered office or (register of members and register of directors' interests only) at some other place notified to Companies House.
